last day of school!

hurray! it's the last day of school! the holidays are coming! yayyayyay! -jumps around the room-

ok. -calm down-. received results today. sigh. unfortunately blaws got higher gpa than me! -wails- humph. humph. i got gpa 3.49. so horrible. a biiiiggggg deprovement from last year! gahhh.

oh well. nvm. and can u believe it. the only subject that i got 4.0 for is chinese. CHINESE. sigh. apparently all my hard work paid off. but chinese was the ONLY subject i studied really hard for, and worked hard, reading chinese books and newspapers, conscientiously trying to improve it. and yeah. it improved. IM ABOVE THE MEDIAN! YAY! IM IN THE TOP 50%! YAY! ok. yeah.

im so motivated bcos i didn't want to disappoint my dad again. every year my dad applies for this prize for good results at 沈氏公会, and there's this chinese prize as well. and i always got the chinese prize in primary school. but last year my marks for chinese was like, 68. and my father didn't apply for the chinese prize bcos he said it's too low.

he said if it's above 70 [or was it 75?] then he would apply for it. and it hurts. it hurts a whole lot. and i really really really regretted not working harder at chinese. and so i really want to get above 75 for overall this year. so this is juz the beginning. there's still semester 2. and it's becoming harder. so i have to strive harder. but yeah. i hope it pays off.

and i shall work harder at all other subjects. esp maths. i compared my results with last year's, and realised i improved in all the subjects except for maths and science. science obviously. maths makes my heart ache. my best subject. always get at least 80 and above, -in pri sch obviously always 91 and above- always get 4.0, get A*. now reduced to only A. 73. same as median. how could it be?

it totally broke my heart. and my heart is still hurting. my pride. my honour. sigh. i have to work harder. i have to be flexibleeeee. not stiff and squarish and cannot think out of the box and whatnot. if the easy qns i can't do, and the diff qns i can't do, then what's the point? gahhhhh.

oh fine. i won't type out all my marks. too lazy too. but the gpa yeah.

rather disheartening. but sigh. yeah. er. let's see. i haf sl, rs, chinese pt, maths pt, geog ws for homework. and not to forget reading of chinese books and yue du bao gao. uh huh.

SL! our priority. will start on monday. heehee boonyang lives right behind there. but i can't be bothered to go looking for u, so be glad. haha. meeting! we haf to settle our attire, proposal, and stuff. ok.

oh dear. OS! os haven't given me the photocopies for rs!! then how do i do it? argh.
