Have a good friday!

PW results were out yesterday, and amazingly, rjc did even better this year with 92% obtaining distinction! fortunately for me, i wasn't part of the minority 8%, but there was 1 guy in my class who was. I have no idea how to comfort guys, so i hope his friends are doing something about it. There's no way one wouldn't be affected when everyone else in your class gets A and you get B, even though he acts nonchalant and all. Now that PW is over, it's a great relief, a burden off my chest. hurray!

and finally, i am better than my brother at something! (he didn't get A for PW wahaha) yay!
Joke:
How many mainstream economists does it take to change a light bulb?
Two. One to assume the existence of a ladder and one to change the bulb.

Economic forecasters assume everything, except responsibility.
- RECONS July 2008 Issue
wise words indeed.

I finally got down to reading RECONS, and it's got quite interesting stuff in it. do read it if you've got the time.

Anyway, I shall publicise "Dine in the Dark", a charity event to raise funds for the blind, organized by my friend in Interact Club. Details:

Date: Friday, May 8, 2009
Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Location: Raffles Institution Junior College
Price: $10

you'll get to have a dinner in the dark, served by the blind. There are such restaurants around the world, but they requires reservations like one week before and only allow small groups of customers. Hence this is a great opportunity to have such an experience!

Let me know if you're interested, because i want to go but not sure who to ask xD we can go after astro session!

Yeah, have a good friday ^^
